Okay, I’m about 14 work hours away from publishing book two, Horsethief. I’m also working on book three as fast as my little half-frozen fingers can type, and finally I’ve found out that I seem to make the most headway when I’m working on three writing projects at a time, bouncing from one to the other as the mood takes me. I’ve always been a quantum-leap thinker, but this pushes it to a new high.
Being a Muse (the Greek demideities of inspiration) must be boring as hell, since they seem to get their kicks from delivering their goods when their inspirees are on the toilet, in the car, in the shower, or trying to get to sleep for an early shift at work. I’ve been hammering away at moving Rhymer from one place to the next, and I haven’t been able to work out how to get from A to B, so I gave up, tried to go to sleep since I have to get up at 345 in the morning, and after being asleep for 20 minutes, I pop right back awake with the solution. Then I stagger through my work day feeling like my brain’s full of dryer lint. Blech. In better news, I’m about 2 weeks away from publishing book two, Horsethief! Stay tuned for more details!
