If you’re a restless person like myself, until we get to the day when dictation can be done by means of a computer implant in my brain, I think this is a good step forward for productivity, especially if you want to stand and type at the same time.
I keep having to start again on my planned free novella, both because I keep having plot twists that work better in a longer format and because I keep having to remind myself what the characters were like in a previous time period. That’s the problem with writing a prequel, at least for me. I don’t know how Stephen Brust does it time and again without losing his marbles.

When I’m working on something, writing or not, I like to have something playing in the background, whether that’s music or more likely given that I’ve built a media server, movies or TV by the season. Not only can you binge watch, you can take a mini vacation and come back to where you were, all without the pain in the butt factor of having to change out discs. Recently, not only did I binge watch 30 plus years of Doctor Who, recently I watched the new Fox show Almost Human. I can’t recommend this show enough; Transhumanism, AI, synthetic organ-jacking, body dysmorphia, and hey, Karl Urban!
